Hotel Flooring Installation Across London
Independent hotels face a constant challenge: keeping rooms in revenue-generating service while maintaining the condition and appearance that guests expect. Tired or damaged flooring is one of the most common guest complaints — and one of the fastest things to fix when you have the right contractor.
At Cavendish deVere, we specialise in fast-turnaround carpet and flooring installation for London's hotel sector. We work overnight and out-of-hours so rooms are taken out of service for as little time as possible. A standard double or twin room can typically be stripped, fitted and ready for guests within a single overnight shift.
We work with independent hotels, boutique properties, B&Bs and guest houses across all London boroughs. Whether you need a handful of rooms refreshed before a busy period or a phased full-property refurbishment, we can quote and mobilise quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can you replace carpet in a hotel room?
In most cases we can complete a standard double or twin room overnight — stripped, fitted and ready for guests by the following morning. Larger rooms or suites may require two shifts. We always agree the schedule with you in advance so there are no surprises.
Do you work outside normal hours?
Yes. Out-of-hours and overnight working is standard for us on hotel projects. We also work at weekends. The aim is always to minimise the time any room is out of service.
What type of carpet do you recommend for hotels?
For bedrooms, we recommend contract-grade carpet rated at 40oz or above — this is designed for heavy use and maintains its appearance under repeated cleaning. For corridors, we'd typically recommend a heavier pile or Axminster option. We're happy to advise on specifications during the site visit.
Do you remove and dispose of old carpet?
Yes. Full strip-out, waste removal and subfloor preparation are included in our quotes where required. We leave the room clean and ready for the new floor.
Can you quote for a single room?
Absolutely. We have no minimum job size. Whether it's one guest room or a full property refurbishment, we're happy to visit and provide a written quote.
Are you insured and accredited?
Yes. Cavendish deVere holds full public liability insurance and our fitters are NICF-accredited. We've been operating since 2014 and have won 12 industry awards, including Best Flooring Company in London.
