Sisal, jute, seagrass stair and floor runners St John's Wood
Cavendish deVere make stair runners and floor runners from sisal, seagrass and jute in our London workshop. We can measure, make and fit these runners and rugs anywhere in St John's Wood and Lisson Grove, so if you want a high quality, bespoke, made-to-measure runner for your home or office in St John's Wood then look no further, we have it covered.
Specialist stair runnersWe make hand-made natural fibre runners and custom cut them to fit your stairs. We make runners that go around corners, cover platforms and or landings, fit winding stairs, kite shaped stairs and pie shaped stairs. Sisal herringbone and fine boucle patterns, chunky boucles, stripes, metallic colours, segrass in herringbone and natural jute carpets and seagrass carpets. All with whipped edges in any colour or a vast array of different coloured border tapes made from lots of materials like suede, leather, cotton, hessioan, jute and even polyester. |
The processSend us a video of your stairs or floor to start. We have some fantastic software that allows us to send you an pretty accurate estimate via whatsapp. Use this: 07723 467 119. If you like the price then we will come to Kensington to measure the flights of stairs, bring samples and discuss your requirements. After calculating the costs, we will then send you a quote for the entire project - so supply and fitting. |
Post quoteOnce you have accepted the quote and depending on the complexity of the design and the staircase, we will return to the property to make a template of any winding stairs, platforms or wiggly landings (dog-legs etc). The carpet is then ordered, delivered to our warehouse in London, cut to size, whipped and bound in our workshop to seal the edges or a border tape is stitched on. The runner is then carefully checked for defects and delivered to site. |
The installationFinally, we come back to your property in St John's Wood or Lisson Grove to fit the runner. With a natural fibre like sisal for example we will use a method called 'grip and pin'. This is also known as durafit or 'double-stick' and it is the best method to secure these runners to your stairs. |
The St John's Wood areasOf course we cover NW8 but we also cover all areas of Maida Vale, Swiss Cottage, Lisson Grove etc for your sisal stair runners - SE24, SE22 and SE21. |
