Karndean Black Oak Parquet pictures of complete floor
January 2018 and we are just as busy as we were in December! Some nice jobs this month so far but this is the show stopper.
66m2 of stunning Karndean Black Oak Parquet Luxury Vinyl Tile for the Ritorno Restaurant 442 King’s Rd, Chelsea, London SW10 0LQ. A fantastic floor for for a fantastic restaurant. These guys are good – they nearly have as many 5 star reviews as us on Google!
It came out even better than we thought. An inspired choice by the management team at Ritorno who are a really good bunch of guys. The floor was nice before but now it really has the wow factor. The Karndean is a pitch black oak vinyl tile with detailed grain, crafted texture and contemporary matt finish. They chose a traditional herringbone pattern which works so well in the space – but there were an awful lot of cuts! We actually used 75m2 in total.
Five hard days work in total, some late nights and early starts but we got it complete in time for the first guests to dine this evening. I hope they enjoy the food as much as we did fitting the floor!
Hats off to Paul (who project managed), Hughie and Luke for completing the project to such a high standard.
Here is how we did it:
Primed floor
Applied latex screed and then a feather finish. Sanded twice to create smooth, flat surface.
Cut and fit vinyl tile flooring to subfloor adhere with adhesive.
Cleaned and cleared the site upon completion.
And now the pictures. See more here on Pinterest
