V4 Wood flooring Herringbone zb108 natural oak project and images

We had a very nice project last week for a very good client of ours in Anerley SE20 South East London. A very beautiful engineered wooden floor in a lovely home in the hallway and the living room. We think it looks fantastic and it is going to look even better when the skirting boards and decorating is completed. The beautiful colour of the floor, the herringbone parquet and of course the excellent installation really sets of the rooms. Here is how it went.

Cut and fit 6mm plyboard to floor

Cut and fit soundsense underlay

Cut and fit V4 wood flooring herringbone pattern and adhere to underlay

Clean and clear upon completion

The Zigzag Herringbone wood floor delivers modern parquet style floors using precision milled, easy to install tongue and groove engineered oak blocks. There are ten modern oak tones including classic oaks, muted tones, greys, natural oak and an unfinished oak option but in this case the Natural Oak was selected and it looks awesome.

As the subfloor was not great a special rubber and cork underlay was used to take out the imperfections int he floor and then the wood was glued to it to make a really solid floor that won;t have that horrible clackety, clack sound when you walk on it.

It took a week to do but we were happy and most importantly the client was very happy. Another fine job by Cavendish deVere!
