Red carpet stair runner on beautiful spiral staircase
We had a fantastic project for a very well known bar and restaurant in the City this week. Famous as a hang-out for traders before they all up and leave to go to Paris and Frankfurt post-Brexit. We’re happy to fit the carpets there too.
Anyway, a very nice client and a job we were determined to win because well – it’s a dream staircase. The kind of staircase from a 1950s film noir. A beautiful caste iron ballustrade and a res carpet stair runner replacement over several flights. A specialist floor layers drem and the boys absolutely loved working on it. Well, they loved finishing it, it was pretty relentless work to finish in 2 days and the backing on the carpet was a fight. But their is a cocktail party this week so it had to be done.
But the end result is stnning and I can’t remember seeing a better example of a red carpet runner on a spiral staircase anywhere. Have a look at the pictures and I think you’ll agree!
Here’s how we did it… and see all the pictures here on Cavendish deVere Pinterest
