Another marvelous project completed by Hughie and his team at a home in Clapham SW4 London. A tricky sisal carpet double-stick job. No fitters ever like fitting sisal it is so hard to fit. This is becasue it is really dried grass.

But we managed and again it looks great. Here is what we did:

The client has asked for us to run the carpet the cheapest way so the top bedroom will be going across the room

And the master bedroom will be going the same way as the stairs.

Areas to be fitted 

2x Bedrooms and stairs

Description of works

Remove existing flooring, take away and dispose

Cut and fit Powerstep underlay to subfloor

Cut new carpet to shape and adhere to Powerstep underlay with F3 adhesive

Clean and clear upon completion

Alternative flooring Sisal Boucle Basing its very nice but I think I prefer the Alternative flooring sisal boucle bentley which looks great as a carpet runner

It was for once a hot day in London even though we are in July the weather has been awful so Hughie was very pleased to have finished this and lost a considerable amount of fluids doing so!
