Fitting of Carpet runner in #London #SE3

We had an amazing  project last week for a  client in London SE3, This wonderful project was to fit Telenzo chelsea carpet runners on stairs. We think that it looks extraordinary, The runners on the stairs makes the stairs look complete. And  It looks brilliant and of the course the work we put in. This is how it  went,

Template stairs to get accurate measurement for client to order carpet

Collect carpet bring to warehouse and cut to size, whip edges.

Blind stitch together in 3 pieces. (2 x 45 degree cuts)

Fit foam underlay to stairs and attach runner to underlay

Fitting style ‘Waterfall’

The stair runner fitting styles

Waterfall: The “Waterfall” method involves bringing the carpet over the edge of the tread and straight down the riser to meet the next tread. Without molding it to the riser, it creates a waterfall effect. It is the most common installation method because of the clean look. This method is more appropriate for thicker carpets that are more difficult to wrap around the edge of the tread.

Telenzo Chelsea, colour Graphite 189 with Crucial tape CP8 black.

It took us 2 days to complete this job as to how it looks now,  And we are  happy with the end result we got and as to how the customer was satisfied. Yet another excellent  job by Cavendish deVere! Bravo
