Carpet fitting a house in Clapham SW4<\/strong><\/p>\n

An interesting job over the last few days, fitting out a house in Clapham. Usually these are pretty straight forward except they were still building this one while we were fitting the carpet. Not ideal and the fitting couldn’t be pushed back as the project manager had been on a long holiday and the project was behind by several weeks.<\/p>\n

Thus, it was a mad dash to get the house finished for the client’s return next week and the site was like one of those Nick Knowles TV shows. They were still painting the ballustrades, doors and walls as we left. We will be back next week because they have already dropped paint on the top landing which is a shame becasue it is a lovely, thick, twist carpet at a very reasonable price of \u00a319.99 per m2 – and it comes in much nicer colours that this one.<\/p>\n

Anyway, we got on with it even though we were supposed to be the last team in. They will be snagging that job for several weeks yet!<\/p>\n

Bedroom 1\/2 stairs and landings<\/strong><\/p>\n

Remove all existing carpet and underlay and dispose<\/p>\n

Apply new gripper\u00a0rods to all subfloor areas<\/p>\n

Apply new 10mm Primo softfoot underlay to subfloor areas<\/p>\n

Install new Padova Twist\u00a0carpet 48oz in Corn Beige<\/p>\n

Clean and clear site upon completion<\/p>\n
