This is unsual because we often <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavendishdevere.com\/Lino\/marmoleum-Hampstead-NW3.htm\">fit lino floors in West Hampstead<\/a> but this installation was not without its challenges, notably due to persistent issues with the floor\u2019s camber\u2014a critical element needed to ensure water drains effectively to the centre. Despite setbacks with the builders consistently getting this slope wrong, our team went above and beyond to not only correct the problem but also to alleviate the stress the client was experiencing.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"632\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"675\">The Challenge: Incorrect Floor Camber<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"677\" data-end=\"1110\">A well-designed wetroom depends on a correctly graded floor. The camber is essential for directing water to the central drain, preventing puddling and water damage. Unfortunately, the builders\u2019 repeated errors in establishing the proper camber created a significant obstacle. The incorrect slope not only risked the performance of the wetroom but also compounded the client\u2019s frustration during an already stressful building process.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1115\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1166\">Our Approach to the Cap and Cove Installation<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1519\"><strong data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1211\">1. Detailed Pre-Installation Assessment<\/strong><br data-start=\"1211\" data-end=\"1214\" \/>Before any work commenced, our team conducted a thorough survey of the site. This assessment was crucial in identifying the extent of the deviation in the floor\u2019s slope. This involved carefully setting the Altro Aquarius Mallard tiles, ensuring perfect alignment and adhesion.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2471\" data-end=\"2607\"><strong data-start=\"2473\" data-end=\"2491\">Final Sealing:<\/strong> Meticulous attention was paid to sealing all joints, securing a watertight finish that is critical for any wetroom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2609\" data-end=\"2948\"><strong data-start=\"2609\" data-end=\"2644\">4. Client-Focused Communication<\/strong><br data-start=\"2644\" data-end=\"2647\" \/>Understanding the client\u2019s frustration with their builders, we maintained open and clear communication throughout the project. By overcoming the significant challenge posed by the builders&#8217; errors in the floor camber, we delivered a project that not only met rigorous industry standards but also significantly reduced the stress on our client.
