We had a really nice time fitting\u00a0Acoustilay 15 sound insulation into a lovely loft in Edgeware NW7, London for a lovely guy.\u00a0 He was having a bit of time getting someone reliable and competent to fit\u00a0this for him so we were happy to step in. And we never even went to measure to begin with made the quote remotely via Whatsapp<\/a> using FloQuote software. What’s more is the quote was bang on for measurements!<\/p>\n

As an flooring installer,\u00a0we’ve worked with many soundproofing products over the years, but we have to say, Acoustilay<\/strong><\/a> by Sound Reduction Systems really stood out here. We\u2019vefitted it before\u00a0for various projects, from residential homes to flat conversions, and it\u2019s quickly become a go-to choice for us. Here\u2019s why we think it\u2019s such a great product, both from a fitting perspective and for its long-term benefits.<\/p>\n

First off, the installation process is incredibly straightforward. Acoustilay<\/strong> is well-designed for ease of use. It\u2019s flexible yet sturdy, making it easy to handle and cut to the exact specifications needed for each job. Unlike some other materials that can be tricky or time-consuming to install, Acoustilay<\/strong> allows us to work efficiently, which saves time and reduces labor costs for the client. The green color also makes it easy to identify on-site, so we know for sure we\u2019re using the latest, eco-friendly version of the product.<\/p>\n

Another huge advantage of Acoustilay<\/strong> is its high performance in sound insulation. It\u2019s often used to meet the requirements of Building Regulations Part E, particularly in flat conversions. We\u2019ve found it to be a reliable solution for projects where soundproofing is a priority. Whether it\u2019s for reducing airborne noise or minimizing impact noise between floors, Acoustilay<\/strong> consistently delivers. It\u2019s not just something we recommend to meet regulations – it genuinely improves the living or working experience for the end-user.<\/p>\n

From an environmental standpoint, it\u2019s great to work with a product that\u2019s manufactured entirely in the UK, which helps cut down on the carbon footprint associated with transportation. The fact that it\u2019s made from 100% recyclable materials, including pre, mixed, and post-industrial waste, is a big plus for us and for clients who are environmentally conscious. It\u2019s nice to be able to offer a product that aligns with the growing demand for sustainability in construction.<\/p>\n

Its also made of non-toxic materials, it\u2019s PVC-free and doesn\u2019t emit harmful compounds when burned, which gives us peace of mind during installation, knowing we\u2019re not exposing ourselves or the clients to any potential hazards.<\/p>\n

In short, we highly recommend it. Combine that with a very nice Balta carpet that looked great once fitted and both we and the client were delighted with the final finish. Finally hats of to our fitter Hamid who did a sterling job here, worked really hard and he was a great find for us using Profinda candidate search technology<\/a>\u00a0to discover he was a soundproofing expert fitter.<\/p>\n
