And\u00a0 It looks brilliant\u00a0and of the course the work we put in. This is how it\u00a0 went,<\/p>\n

The stair runner<\/strong><\/p>\n

Template stairs to get accurate measurement for client to order carpet<\/p>\n

Collect carpet bring to warehouse and cut to size, whip edges.<\/p>\n

Blind stitch together in 3 pieces. (2 x 45 degree cuts)<\/p>\n

Fit foam underlay to stairs and attach runner to underlay<\/p>\n

Fitting style ‘Waterfall’<\/p>\n

The stair runner fitting styles<\/strong><\/p>\n

Waterfall:\u00a0The\u00a0\u201cWaterfall\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>method involves bringing the carpet over the edge of the tread and straight down the riser to meet the next tread. Without molding it to the riser, it creates a waterfall effect. It is the most common installation method because of the clean look. This method is more appropriate for thicker carpets that are more difficult to wrap around the edge of the tread.<\/p>\n
