We love working in\u00a0Belgravia and we love working on hand made, bespoke flooring. In this case a beautiful Westex Velvet carpet\u00a080% wool and 20% nylon blend that we templated and made into a fantastic runner. Look superb and the client her team were delighted.<\/p>\n

What a great project to work on.<\/p>\n

Basement landing area\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Remove existing carpet runner and dispose<\/p>\n

Template new Westex\u00a0carpet and cut to shape<\/p>\n

Whip and bind\u00a0all\u00a0edges of carpet\u00a0to create runner \/ large mat<\/p>\n

Return carpet to site and fit using Foxi rug securing underlay<\/p>\n

Clean and clear site upon completion of works<\/p>\n

Why you should have a hallway runner<\/strong><\/p>\n

Technically this runner was a large mat in basement but nevertheless every\u00a0hallway with a hard floor should have runner\u00a0because for they transform\u00a0an entrance hall into something stunning and it keeps scratches and marks off floorboards, ceramic tiles, LVTS, wood and laminate flooring.<\/p>\n

Obviously this was bespoke\u00a0carpet made fro a very discerning client!\u00a0But you can buy straight\u00a0runners relatively cheaply and as long as you secure them to the floor properly with an anti-slip rug underlay<\/a>\u00a0you can’t go wrong.<\/p>\n

Here are the pictures of the beautiful runner we created. As always Henry the vacuum cleaner makes an appearance and this runner is covered by our massive 2 year installation warranty.<\/p>\n
