Wilton stair runner with pattern in Chelsea SW3

Started and finished a job in Chelsea this month where the client supplied the carpet. We won’t be doing that again! With a patterned carpet she had not bought enough and certainly not enough to match the pattern. It was quite challenging to get across how much extra carpet is required if you are going to match a pattern over several flights of stairs. And it was a runner too!

Anyway, we got there in the end and pretty much matched it everywhere but it was a very long, tricky and complex job. I’m not sure we really got the full credit for this one! Here are the pictures…..
